Performance Costume Washing Instructions:
Performance costumes refer to the costumes the dancers wear in the dance shows/ competitions.
All performance costumes should be hand washed in the sink in cold water with
Woolite.
The costumes should then be laid flat on a towel to dry this may take more than a day.
When returning any costume: The costume and all of its pieces should be placed in a Ziploc bag with the dancers first and last name printed on the outside. Each costume for each dance should be placed in a separate bag, this makes inventory much easier for Ms. Mote and her assistants.
No costume should ever be placed in the Ziploc bag until it is completely dry. No wet costumes will be accepted they will be returned to the dancer. The dancer will then need to wash the costume again and turn in dry. Please allow plenty of time for the costume to dry before placing it in the bag.
All dancers need to provide their own bags, as Ms. Mote does not have supplies to give out bags to individual dancers.
